To complete the event quest and unlock the book section, Rao Ke began planning the specific details for the ten-thousand-person event.
If this quest was completed well, not only would the book section be unlocked, but the progress bar for the upgrade quest would also jump forward significantly.
Easier said than done. Rao Ke had a headache for days just planning the event's activities. In the end, she called a small meeting to gather everyone's opinions.

Back in her room, Rao Ke summoned the system panel and looked at the ten-pull option for the artifact draws.
A ten-pull would cost a whopping 500,000 points, but compared to single pulls, it guaranteed at least three artifacts.
After the system upgrade, the draws could yield not only artifacts but also common items like strawberry tissues, or advanced items like shop villa blueprints and renovation upgrade cards.
Rao Ke washed her hands, and even lit a stick of incense, before holding Xue Qiu and starting the draw.
Sesame Paste watched Rao Ke press the button with Xue Qiu's paw and couldn't help but comment, "If you're using the cat's paw, why did you wash your own hands?"
Rao Ke murmured with her eyes closed, "You wouldn't understand. It's a matter of ritual."

Sesame Paste tossed a strawberry into his mouth. "Sure, but you'll need to prepare the detailed mock-up for the sand table simulation first."
"Alright, I'll start on that soon," Rao Ke said, already prepared to spend two or three days studying the sand table.
She also planned to send out a notice that offline purchases would be temporarily suspended.
"Sesame Paste, can you help me create a small online shopping program?" Rao Ke looked at Sesame Paste, stroking his head to butter him up.
Sesame Paste squinted contentedly. "Sure, that's simple. I can do it myself."

For the rest of the day, except for stepping out to get dinner in the evening, Rao Ke holed up in her room working on the sand table.
Sesame Paste alternated between fiddling with the mini-program and playing games, working at a relaxed pace.
Xue Qiu, with a piece of dried meat in his mouth, just lay nearby, watching the two of them busy themselves.
The next morning, Rao Ke was sporting dark circles under her eyes as she glanced at the sleeping Sesame Paste, who was snoring away, and the finished first and second floors of the shop.
She put away the sand table, climbed into bed, and fell asleep the moment her eyes closed.

Rao Ke was woken by the knocking and sat up. "Come in."
"Did you stay up late again?" Kalisa asked, carrying a bowl of seafood porridge as she entered.
Rao Ke yawned and got out of bed to go wash up. "Yeah, I was working on something last night."
"Well, I brought you dinner," Kalisa said, placing the porridge on the wooden table before taking out a folder from her spatial storage.
"These are the opera troupes I contacted and compiled last night that might be available to perform here. Take a look, and once you've decided, let me know, and I'll follow up with them." Kalisa spoke in a gentle tone.
"Thanks, you can leave it there. I'll take a look in a bit," Rao Ke said with an appreciative smile.
Kalisa glanced at Sesame Paste, who was busy playing games, and said, "Alright, I'll head off then."
After washing up, Rao Ke sat down at the wooden table and went through the troupe materials while sipping the seafood porridge.
She planned a three-day event, with one performance each day, so she needed to hire a single theater troupe.
Looking at the detailed documents, complete with pros and cons, Rao Ke deliberated.
"I'll pick the Puppet Theater Troupe," she decided, choosing the best—and most expensive—troupe of the lot.
"KeKe, I've finished the mini-program too. I'll send it over for you to check," Sesame Paste said.
Rao Ke was a little surprised. "That fast!"
"Of course. For me, it's just a small matter," Sesame Paste said proudly, lifting his head.
"Alright, let me take a look," Rao Ke said, checking the mini-program he had sent.
