You Didn't Tell Me This Was an ABO World?!

Chapter 33

Su Louzhi's mind went completely blank.

What was Ji Kailan saying?

She couldn't have misheard him, could she? What did he mean by “do it with me”? Did he mean it in that way?

Given what he was currently doing... it seemed all too likely.

She stood frozen, at a loss.

Unfortunately, when she had woken up to find him gone, she had been so anxious that she forgot to grab her phone. Without it, she couldn't type out her thoughts.

The most urgent thing now was to fix the problem of his red eyes, right? Although he hadn't seemed to care much about it, she felt he was in an abnormal state.

She had to help him get through this first.

Su Louzhi pointed at the door, signaling that she wanted to go back to her room to get her phone.

She had just turned and taken a few steps when her arm was grabbed. A strong force yanked her back, and she stumbled several steps before falling into a warm embrace.

Su Louzhi was wearing a thin-strapped nightgown, and since the villa had the heater running and was quite warm, her sleepwear was very light.

Now, pulled back with force, she tumbled into Ji Kailan's arms, her back pressing directly against his chest. In that instant, she realized: Ji Kailan wasn't wearing any clothes.

...

She was so embarrassed that her toes curled.

Ji Kailan's displeased voice sounded from above her head.

“Why run?” he asked in a hoarse voice. “Are you that afraid of me?”

Su Louzhi then realized that perhaps it was because his emotions were out of control that he had misunderstood her intentions, thinking she wanted to flee after seeing his erratic state.

She couldn't let his emotions spiral further.

Suppressing her embarrassment, she turned her head, tilted it up to look at him, and gently shook her head.

She wanted to tell him: she wasn't afraid, and she wasn't running away.

Under the moonlight, her eyes seemed to speak, gazing at him with unspoken words.

Ji Kailan looked at the soft, fragrant person in his arms.

Her brows and eyes were full of shyness, and her eyes held only him alone.

He could no longer think about what the head shake meant.

He only felt that she was seducing him at this moment.

No longer suppressing himself, he lowered his head and kissed her lips fiercely.

The moment she was kissed, Su Louzhi's eyes flew wide open.

She couldn't believe what Ji Kailan was doing.

Instinctively, she reached out to push him away, wanting to calm him down, wanting to see if she could help him. But the moment her hand touched his chest, Ji Kailan sensed her resistance.

He seemed even more displeased.

His arms tightened suddenly, trapping her firmly. His tongue pressed hard, forcing her lips apart, surging in and sweeping through like a conqueror.

Su Louzhi felt the intrusion of something foreign in her mouth, a bit uncomfortable.

But she quickly realized that Ji Kailan was not in a normal state right now, and he might not be able to process the meaning of her actions. Her attempts to push him away could easily be misinterpreted as rejection, enraging him further.

In truth... Su Louzhi didn't really mind Ji Kailan's forcible kiss. Her earlier resistance stemmed more from concern for his physical condition.

Now she suddenly felt that perhaps going along with him was the most important thing.

Having thought it through, she slowly lowered her hand from his chest and instead wrapped her arms around him gently.

[Note: Just kissing, above the neck.]

Feeling Su Louzhi's compliance and reliance, Ji Kailan grew even more excited, his plundering intensifying as if he wanted to drain every drop of sweetness from her mouth.

Su Louzhi felt uncomfortable.

Ji Kailan was invading too deeply, and his tongue was too agile. She had never experienced anything like this before, and being thrown into such an intense situation on her first time left her at a loss.

She didn't know how to respond.

Soon, she realized she couldn't breathe.

This realization frightened her. She wanted to push him away, but Ji Kailan was too absorbed in the kiss, and feeling her resistance only made him more dissatisfied. His arms held her tightly, as if he wanted to crush her into his bones. His plundering within her mouth grew even more relentless.

Su Louzhi was already struggling to breathe, and now, held tightly in his embrace, she couldn't catch her breath at all.

Soon, she was on the verge of suffocation.

Tears of distress welled up in the corners of her eyes. She wanted to make a sound, to beg him to stop, but her throat could only produce silent struggles.

She couldn't even manage a whimper.

Su Louzhi was scared.

She was afraid she would die in Ji Kailan's kiss.

Tears kept falling, her heart filled with fear and grievance. She thought to herself that Ji Kailan was truly terrifying when his condition flared up, nothing like the gentle way he usually treated her.

Her consciousness began to blur—a sign of oxygen deprivation.

Su Louzhi's pushing hands grew weaker, going from frantic to limp. Her vision darkened, and her limbs turned to jelly. She vaguely thought: she might really die today.

Just as she was about to lose consciousness, Ji Kailan seemed to finally notice something was wrong with her.

He let go.

When their lips separated, a thin silver thread stretched between them.

After being released, Su Louzhi didn't even have the strength to gasp for air. She slumped against him weakly, breathing in shallow, fragile puffs.

Ji Kailan hadn't actually had his fill yet.

But he felt Su Louzhi in his arms growing limp, her breathing weakening, so he instinctively let her go.

Now, watching her lie helpless against him, a secret thrill surged from deep within him.

This state Su Louzhi was in now—it was all his doing.

Kissed until her whole body flushed, kissed until tears streamed down her face, kissed until she was powerless—these were all marks he left on her.

This realization delighted Ji Kailan. He reached out and gently stroked her back, trying to help her catch her breath.

After what felt like a long time, Su Louzhi felt her consciousness gradually returning. Her hands were still weak, but she could control them now. She lifted her hand with difficulty and, still in his embrace, wrote on his chest: phone.

Ji Kailan raised an eyebrow. “You want me to get your phone so you can type?”

Su Louzhi nodded weakly, barely moving.

Ji Kailan was still in the out-of-control state of his susceptible period. The violent emotions couldn't be suppressed, and he didn't want to suppress them either. He only felt that what had just happened was utterly exhilarating, all because Su Louzhi couldn't speak or type.

Following his instincts, he held her even tighter.

“No,” he said teasingly. “I like seeing you like this—unable to speak, unable to type, just passively taking whatever I give.”

Su Louzhi heard these words but didn't feel angry. Perhaps the relief of surviving that near-suffocation overshadowed everything else.

She continued writing gently on his chest: eyes, red.

Ji Kailan was in a good mood now, but he didn't want to give in so easily. What had just happened was too pleasurable, and he craved even more.

He spoke mischievously: “ZhiZhi, do you want to know why my eyes are red?”

Su Louzhi nodded lightly.

Ji Kailan smiled with satisfaction.

“But I don't want to tell you,” he said, leaning close until his breath brushed her lips. “Unless you let me kiss you again.”

Su Louzhi paused.

She had recovered a little now, able to breathe again. Although she was terrified of that near-death sensation, Ji Kailan was incredibly important to her.

From the moment she had shielded him from the knife without hesitation at the Sky mall, she had understood that perhaps Ji Kailan's place in her heart had long become immeasurable.

Since then, she had realized: she couldn't leave Ji Kailan. She couldn't be angry at him. She couldn't even refuse him.

Everything Ji Kailan gave her, she could only bear.

Everything Ji Kailan asked of her, she could only obey.

So Su Louzhi nodded lightly. She wrapped her arms around his neck, used them to lift herself up, tilted her head, and gently touched her lips to the corner of his mouth.

Ji Kailan was thrilled.

Seeing Su Louzhi so obediently kiss him on her own, he felt immensely proud.

But he hadn't expected her to pull back after just a light touch. He was about to frown and complain when she leaned in again, continuing to peck at his lips.

Once, then again.

Even the corners of Ji Kailan's eyebrows were tinged with pleasure.

He enjoyed Su Louzhi's initiative, each kiss light as a feather brushing past. It turned out her gentle pecks had a charm of their own. He had thought only plundering could bring pleasure, but now his heart was stirred intensely.

Su Louzhi kissed him for a long time.

A kiss, a pull back, another kiss.

Until her neck ached from lifting it, she shrank back into his arms, resting her head on his chest. She raised her hand and wrote on his chest: enough?

Ji Kailan was utterly delighted and answered readily: “You want to know why my eyes are red?”

Su Louzhi nodded lightly.

“It's one of the aftereffects of pheromone loss of control,” Ji Kailan said without hiding anything. “As long as I get through this bout of pheromone imbalance, it'll return to normal.”

Su Louzhi had no idea what “pheromone loss of control” meant.

Was this some rare disease? But what illness could make a person's pupils turn red when it flared up? Weren't pupil colors set at birth, never changing for life?

She raised her hand again and wrote slowly: what is it?

Ji Kailan looked down at her, a smile in his eyes: “I want more kisses. This time, let me take the lead.”

Su Louzhi paused, then nodded lightly. She tilted her head up, lips slightly parted, waiting for him.

Ji Kailan was deeply satisfied. He lowered his head and took his fill for a long while, only letting go when she was again unable to breathe.

“I'm currently the only enigma in this world,” he said directly. “Ever since I differentiated into an enigma, I've had this pheromone loss of control during my susceptible period every year. At first, there was no self-harm behavior, but it was still excruciating. I could only rely on willpower to get through seven days in this villa.”

He suddenly gave a self-deprecating laugh, then continued casually: “But when I was nineteen, things got worse. The loss of control intensified, and I started having uncontrollable self-harming behavior. My yearly susceptible period also started coming earlier. From then on, neither I nor my medical team could predict when it would strike. Every time, I could only rush here when it hit.”

Su Louzhi listened quietly.

“At nineteen, the self-harm began. By my twentieth susceptible period, my family had put many precautions in place to stop me from hurting myself. But they didn't know I needed pain to get through it. The precautions were too safe—I couldn't feel any pain...”

His voice dropped. “So I jumped from the rooftop.”

Su Louzhi's body trembled slightly.

“I broke my leg and lay on the ground for three days. By the time they found me, I was barely alive.” Ji Kailan held her tighter. “After that, they never dared to put any safety measures in place again. They just let me get through it the old way, on my own.”

Su Louzhi hadn't understood from the start.

What did “differentiated into an enigma” mean? What was differentiation? What was pheromone loss of control? What was a susceptible period? And could this illness make someone's eyes turn red, make them lose control, even harm themselves? And did it come once a year, like a period?

The more she heard, the more confused she became, her head full of question marks.

Then, in a flash of insight, she remembered the first movie Ji Kailan had shown her today—

*Absolute Controller*.

Wasn't that movie about the protagonist differentiating into an enigma, going through all sorts of suffering, and eventually being studied endlessly?

Could it be... that everything in that movie was real?

Su Louzhi was utterly stunned.

She also recalled that strange movie she had watched before. Since she had chosen it herself, she had forced herself to finish it even though she found it odd. That movie had mentioned words like alpha, omega, and beta.

Combined with today's viewing...

Maybe these weren't fantasy elements at all, but real things?

Su Louzhi couldn't speak, so of course she couldn't ask Ji Kailan directly.

And for some reason, she didn't dare to ask. If this world truly had genders like alpha, beta, omega, and even enigma, wouldn't it seem incredibly suspicious if she asked now? To others, she had lived in this world for over a decade—how could she not know this?

Her origins would be easily exposed.

She could only call out frantically in her mind: System! System! What does Senior Ji mean? Does this world really have four genders—alpha, beta, omega, and even enigma?

“Yes, host,” the System replied calmly.

Su Louzhi felt like the sky was falling.

She had been ignorant for so long, and she didn't know if she had revealed any flaws that raised suspicion. She demanded anxiously: Then why didn't you tell me?!

“Because the host didn't ask,” the System said directly.

Su Louzhi was in despair: But this should be basic information about this world! You should have told me in advance at the very least! I don't even know how many flaws I've exposed!

“Don't worry, host,” the System reassured her. “So far, you haven't exposed any flaws. Also, the System must clarify: the System has never hidden anything from you. The ABO worldview is everywhere—it's just that the host didn't pay attention.”

What? Everywhere? Why have I never seen it? Su Louzhi demanded.

The System's tone carried a hint of strangeness: “When the host first arrived in this world, didn't you search the internet for famous figures of this world? If the host had merely clicked on their profiles, you would have clearly seen their gender listed as alpha, beta, or omega.”

Su Louzhi felt the sky completely collapse.

She was somewhat broken: When I first arrived, I did look at celebrity profiles, but I only looked at their photos and brief bios! In my world, there were only two genders—male and female. Any normal person could tell from a photo whether someone was male or female. So why would I bother clicking into the detailed info to check gender? I look at a photo, confirm she's female—do I really need to click in and double-check, 'Oh, she's indeed female, I guessed right'?

The System replied very unreasonably: “Then there's nothing to be done. It's because the host didn't seriously investigate this world.”

Su Louzhi fell silent, deflated.

The System was right. When she had just been reborn, she had been too excited, her mind full of seeing colors again, feeling textures again, wanting to walk around and savor every flower, every blade of grass. As for virtual things like the internet, she had indeed rarely touched them.

Not reading the profiles carefully was her fault.

She paused, thinking of Ji Kailan's symptoms, and asked urgently: System, do you know what's going on with Senior Ji's condition?

The System told her directly: “An enigma's pheromones are too violent—ordinary people can't withstand them. Differentiating into an enigma means Ji Kailan's physical data far exceeds that of the top S+ rank alphas. This also means his sense of smell is incomparably sharp. He can't live like a normal person in the ordinary world because he would constantly smell the mixed pheromones of those around him.”

“During his susceptible period, without pheromones to soothe him, he can only rely on willpower. Long-term suppression of such violent pheromones has pushed his body to its limits. In the end, it will lead to irreparable consequences.”

Su Louzhi's heart tightened: What kind of irreparable consequences?

“When he reaches the limit, he'll explode and die,” the System replied briefly.

Su Louzhi's blood ran cold.

She suddenly remembered that when she had first learned of Ji Kailan's background, shocked by his status, she had asked the System out of curiosity: Why isn't someone like Ji Kailan the male lead of this book?

At that time, the System had told her very briefly that Ji Kailan was only a minor character with very little mention.

So now, connecting that with what the System had just told her...

Had Ji Kailan already died by the time the novel's plot developed?

At the thought of this possibility, Su Louzhi couldn't help trembling.

She asked in near despair, in her heart: System, tell me—by the time Shen Boyang and Qin Qingyan's storyline developed, was Ji Kailan already dead?

The System confirmed her guess: “Correct. Though by then, the male and female leads' development was already fairly late. Ji Kailan's pheromone loss of control worsened again at twenty-five, and he could no longer leave the house. At twenty-eight, he exploded and died.”

Hearing the System's confirmation, Su Louzhi could no longer hold back her tears; they poured from her eyes.

She didn't dare think about it.

If Ji Kailan truly followed his original fate, becoming unable to leave the house after twenty-five and dying just three years later, her heart felt as if it were being squeezed tightly, aching so much she couldn't breathe.

Ji Kailan looked at the Su Louzhi in his arms with some curiosity.

Why was it that after he told her about his pheromone loss of control, she started crying and trembling like this?

Did she worry about him that much?

He thought with satisfaction: it seemed his ZhiZhi cared about him more than he had imagined.

Of course—if she didn't care, why would she be willing to stay with him? Why would she have no complaints after being forcibly kissed, even taking the initiative to kiss him back?

He reached out, lifted her chin, and tilted her head up.

Looking down, sure enough, this poor little kitten was crying her eyes out, utterly adorable.

He lowered his head, kissed her lips once, and coaxed: “What are you crying about? I've gotten through all these years just fine.”

Su Louzhi stayed silent, her tears still flowing quietly.

Ji Kailan watched her, still not soothed, and frowned slightly.

He didn't like her crying like this.

He wanted her to cry beneath him only in pleasure. At all other times, he wanted her to be happy forever.

So he lowered his head again, stuck out his tongue, and licked away her tears one by one.

Su Louzhi tilted her head up, watching him feign nonchalance just to comfort her, and the pain in her heart only deepened.

How could it be nonchalant?

Tormented for so many years, even hurting himself. Someone as proud as Ji Kailan must surely find it unbearable.

He might not even know his life would end at twenty-eight.

Looking at him, she asked quietly in her heart: System, is there any way to keep him from dying?

The System hesitated, then said uncertainly: “Perhaps you could consider Ji Kailan's earlier suggestion. You might be able to help alleviate his pheromone loss of control.”

Su Louzhi was stunned: You mean... me having sex with him?

“Just a guess,” the System said, not entirely sure. “First, your body is originally from the ordinary world—you have no pheromones. When he's with you, he won't be troubled by inferior pheromones. Second, his loss of control is caused by violent enigma pheromones that can't be released. If you mate with him, his pheromones can be released on you. And since you're an ordinary person who can't retain pheromones, it won't affect you at all. This should be the only way to break the deadlock.”

Su Louzhi was half-convinced: Why would doing that work? Even if I'm an ordinary person with no pheromones, isn't it enough just to release some?

“It's different,” the System explained. “In the ABO world, pheromone release requires two people to mate, with pheromones flowing between each other. One-sided self-indulgence can't make the pheromones truly flow.”

Su Louzhi understood.

Although the System couldn't tell her with certainty that doing that would save Ji Kailan's life—

She was willing to try.

As long as there was even the slightest chance, she was willing.

She would only be giving him her body.

As long as it could let Ji Kailan live—

She would do anything.

Su Louzhi reached out.

One hand gently stroked Ji Kailan's face, while the other slowly moved downward. The moment she touched him, her fingers curled slightly.

Then, slowly and firmly, she gripped again.

Ji Kailan was startled by her action, his brow lifting slightly.

“My ZhiZhi,” he said, his voice hoarse with a hint of teasing, “why are you suddenly so bold?”

Su Louzhi looked him straight in the eyes.

She raised her hand and wrote one word on his chest, stroke by stroke: do.

Ji Kailan was truly shocked this time.

Su Louzhi was willing to go this far for him.

The violent emotions from his susceptible period slowly receded, and reason struggled to return.

He tightened his arms around her, his voice unbearably rough: “ZhiZhi, I don't have much reason left. I'm asking you one last time—are you truly willing to give yourself to me?”

His gaze weighed on her heavily: “Once you give, you can never take it back.”

Su Louzhi looked into his eyes, then nodded lightly.

Ji Kailan's breathing grew suddenly heavier.

“ZhiZhi...” he said with difficulty, “this isn't a joke. You need to think carefully.”

Su Louzhi lowered her gaze, gently resting her head against his chest. She raised her hand and slowly wrote on his heart: Not a joke. I'm willing.

After a pause, she added another line: I want you to get better.

Ji Kailan's arms tightened sharply around her.

“ZhiZhi,” his voice carried a struggle, “I was out of control just now. Those words don't count...”

Su Louzhi was unusually resolute. She continued writing on his chest: Try it. What if it works?

Ji Kailan's reason finally shattered.

He pressed her down onto the bed, tore off the flimsy nightgown with rough hands, and his kisses fell like a sudden storm.

Su Louzhi bore it passively.

Bore it willingly.

Author's note:

Although this chapter is the product of a horny brain, I still want to explain my thought process, to prove I'm not just talking nonsense.

As we all know, the traditional way of giving birth in women is: a full-term healthy baby (5-6 jin) passes through the cervix and birth canal via uterine contractions before being born. However exaggerated the ABO world might be, it can't compare to a full-term baby. So an ordinary person transmigrating into an ABO world should theoretically have no problem accommodating.

Of course, feasibility seems fine, but safety can't be ignored. If you really did transmigrate into an ABO world, it's best not to go after alphas and enigmas with strong sexual capabilities, because ordinary people can get hurt. If the movements are too intense, at worst you'll get torn, at worst ruptured—it could be fatal. It's better to find a gentle, tender beta.
