Chapter 43: Rose No. 43 — Wanting My Wife [Bonus Chapter]
Her phone gave a slight buzz, and the strength in Fu Chaoying’s hand suddenly went slack.
It was a voice message from Ye Jiayuan: “I’m getting on the plane. See you tomorrow.”
Hearing her voice made Fu Chaoying’s heart flutter. On impulse, she tapped play several more times, letting that cool, detached tone echo by her ear.
Fu Chaoying remembered the day Ye Jiayuan had asked whether she wanted to be her girlfriend, and said that one of her core principles was that she would never cheat.
Besides being rich, Ye Jiayuan had shown no signs that she’d stray.
Fu Chaoying lightly smacked her forehead, then took a deep breath before quietly sending a voice reply: “Safe travels, older sister.”
Everything that had happened today was still vivid in her mind; Fu Chaoying didn’t think Ye Jiayuan had the leisure to toy with her feelings.
She let out a long breath, opened her music app, and played a rock song she often listened to.
By the time Fu Chaoying reached the old residence, dusk had just fallen. She stood there in a daze for a moment; only after hearing a woman’s voice from the entrance did she slowly come back to herself.
“Xiaoying, come in and have some tea.” Fu Chaohua stood at the door, lightly waving her over.
“I’m coming.” Fu Chaoying looked back with reluctance and a soft smile, then hurried over in a few quick steps.
Fu Anyun was having tea in the backyard. When she turned and saw Fu Chaoying, she gave a slight nod. “You’re here. Come have a cup of hot tea.”
It was family custom to come home and drink hot tea after paying respects to the ancestors. Fu Chaoying obediently sat beside her cousin and picked up a cup to drink.
Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed her aunt was also admiring the sunset, so Fu Chaoying smiled. “The sunset is so beautiful today.”
Fu Anyun didn’t turn around; she only murmured, “Yes.”
From the moment Fu Chaoying entered, she had noticed that Fu Anyun didn’t seem to be in high spirits today; hearing that tone now only confirmed it.
Fu Chaoying and Fu Chaohua exchanged a glance. The latter mouthed something silently. From her lip movements, Fu Chaoying guessed she was probably saying, “My mom’s been like this since she got back.”
Fu Chaoying lowered her eyes slightly and silently replied, “Say something happy.”
Fu Chaohua started talking about something amusing that had happened today, and about the time their grandmother had taken them back to their hometown when they were little. Fu Chaoying smiled and chimed in a couple of times.
Fu Anyun seemed not to hear what they were saying. It took a long time before she finally came back to herself and fixed her gaze on Fu Chaoying. “You’ve been wronged by this museum matter.”
The moment she spoke, Fu Chaoying was taken aback. Then Ye Jiayuan’s words from the morning flashed through her mind, and she felt that her aunt saying this made perfect sense.
She forced a relaxed smile. “It’s nothing, Aunt.”
Fu Anyun naturally saw through her feigned ease, and her gaze drifted to the distant sunset instead. “As your grandmother’s successor, you should be able to bear this little grievance.”
Guessing that she still had more to say, Fu Chaoying simply lowered her head and drank tea, not reacting further.
Sure enough, Fu Anyun continued, “The Fu family has already given them enough. If you want to keep your grandmother’s paintings, take good care of them.”
The corner of Fu Chaoying’s lips curved slightly. She answered solemnly, “I will.”
Fu Anyun gave a slight nod and said calmly, “I have quite a few contacts in Hong Kong, and some in Singapore too. I’ll have my assistant compile them for you later. If you need to use them, just say the word anytime.”
Fu Chaoying blinked, suddenly finding it hard to believe. It almost sounded like she was being handed the family assets.
Noticing Fu Anyun’s gaze on her, heavy with seriousness and resolve, Fu Chaoying unconsciously sat up straighter.
“After your grandmother passed, the Fu family’s standing was nowhere near what it used to be. I’m old, and Xiaohua has no interest in this. In the future, we’ll have to rely on you.”
The smile on Fu Chaoying’s lips faded. She only nodded lightly. “I’ll do my best.”
Fu Anyun looked at her for a long time; it was only after hearing her daughter speak that she came back to herself.
“Mom, Xiaoying is still young. Don’t put too much pressure on her.” Fu Chaohua patted the back of Fu Chaoying’s hand. “Our Xiaoying is already doing very well.”
Fu Chaoying’s lips lifted in a faint smile. “I’m going to sign the contract with the Hong Kong museum tomorrow.”
“Is it a long-term collaboration or short-term?”
“Long-term.”
Fu Anyun finally smiled. “Then what about the paintings that were previously lent to the Nanyang museum?”
“Take out some of them and display them at the Hong Kong museum together with Grandma Bai’s paintings.”
Fu Anyun shook her head lightly. “It probably won’t be easy to negotiate with the Nanyang museum.”
Thinking of a certain woman, Fu Chaoying’s lips curved. “Jiayuan-jie should be able to help with this.”
Ye Jiayuan gave a great deal of annual sponsorship to the artists’ association and the museums; helping to negotiate shouldn’t be difficult.
Besides, Fu Chaoying thought of that photo and quietly pressed down the unease in her heart. If she didn’t make use of Ye Jiayuan’s resources now, then in the future... how many more days would she have the chance to use them?
Fu Anyun studied Fu Chaoying thoughtfully. “Your relationship with Xiaoyuan is quite good now.”
It was a statement, not a question. Fu Chaoying didn’t refute it, only smiled. “Jiayuan-jie treats all of us very well.”
Fu Chaohua smiled and chimed in at the right time. “Jiayuan-jie has always taken good care of us.”
Fu Anyun nodded and withdrew her gaze from Fu Chaoying, saying softly, “Favors can only last if they’re given and returned.”
The implication was clear: they didn’t yet have the capital to repay Ye Jiayuan’s kindness, so they shouldn’t casually ask her for help.
Fu Chaoying smiled; she had no intention of arguing. She only followed her lead. “You’re right, Aunt.”
After dinner at the old residence, Fu Chaohua said she needed to go back to school and happened to be able to ride home with her younger sister.
Fu Chaoying drove out of the old residence and slowly descended the mountain.
Along the winding road, Fu Chaohua recounted old stories one by one.
Fu Chaoying let herself be carried back into those memories, the corners of her mouth lifting.
“I miss Grandma so much too,” Fu Chaohua murmured, then asked, “Can I sleep at your place tonight?”
Fu Chaoying chuckled. “Sister, what are you talking about? You can come over anytime.”
From the time Fu Chaoying could remember through her student years, and from Fu Chaohua’s middle school years on, they had basically lived in that house.
Fu Chaoying’s mother and grandmother had also passed away in that house.
“Xiaoying.” Fu Chaohua called her softly. “I’ve always been embarrassed to ask, but you and Jiayuan-jie...”
At the mention of this, Fu Chaoying was silent for a long while. In the end, she only said, “I don’t know what the future will be like.”
So there was no point in drawing conclusions now.
Fu Chaohua smiled helplessly. “My mom’s just matching people up recklessly. Don’t take it to heart.”
The victims of Fu Anyun’s matchmaking weren’t only Fu Chaoying; Fu Chaohua and Dong Muyu were too.
Hearing her cousin comfort her made Fu Chaoying feel even worse. “Sister, I didn’t take it to heart.”
“Leaving aside my thing with Jiayuan-jie, I also hope you and Senior Dong will be good.”
Fu Chaohua looked out at the bottomless cliff outside the window, and worry slowly began to creep in. “You still haven’t gotten over it? Why do you seem a little pessimistic?”
Fu Chaoying smiled and said easily, “What do you mean? I’m just taking things as they come.”
There was no need to worry excessively about things that hadn’t happened yet; naturally, there was also no need to hope too much. Let fate take its course; wherever it led them, that was where they would go.
Fu Chaoying thought so.
Fu Chaohua turned her head to look at her profile. Somehow, her younger sister had already grown into the shape of an adult.
After they got onto the overpass, Fu Chaohua thought of something and asked, “Do you want to drink tonight?”
Fu Chaoying answered almost without thinking, “Yes!”
They stopped at the entrance to the neighborhood, then went to a convenience store to buy baijiu and drinks; Fu Chaoying also grabbed some cooked duck snacks and seafood.
The courtyard was brightly lit. Fu Chaoying parked steadily.
Aunt Wu had just gotten back from a walk. Seeing the sisters return together, she chuckled warmly. “Xiaohua has time to come back today too.”
Fu Chaohua greeted her with a smile.
Fu Chaoying lifted the bottle in her hand and asked, “Aunt Wu, do you want to try the cocktails we’re mixing?”
Aunt Wu hurriedly shook her head. “You young people drink it. I’ll go make a few side dishes for the drinks.”
Fu Chaohua also lifted the bag in her hand. “We bought food too; have a little with us.”
The three of them went in together. Fu Chaoying and Fu Chaohua went upstairs first to shower, then came back down to the living room to mix drinks.
Aunt Wu watched their movements curiously. “I’ve seen this on TV! You two look pretty professional!”
Fu Chaoying thought of Fu Chaohua’s previous post on social media and smiled without speaking.
Fu Chaohua complained openly, “When I was doing my PhD, the pressure was huge. My roommates and I often mixed drinks in the dorm, got drunk, and then went back to being draft oxen the next day.”
Listening to them chat while drinking, Fu Chaoying’s thoughts drifted away.
She didn’t like drinking, but many times alcohol really was good at numbing emotions.
Fu Chaohua noticed her distraction from the corner of her eye and let out a nearly imperceptible sigh.
Fu Chaoying drank many cups and heard many things, and she said many things too.
But there was a lot of sweet wine in the mixers, so Fu Chaoying’s mind remained fairly clear.
By eleven o’clock, the two sisters went upstairs to sleep.
At the door to Fu Chaoying’s bedroom, Fu Chaohua opened her mouth, but still didn’t offer comfort—she didn’t know how, because she missed Grandma very much too.
Fu Chaoying saw the hesitation in her expression and said with a light smile, “Sister, I’ll live well. You should too.”
She couldn’t remember which bright, sunny afternoon it had been; she had decided then to live properly. The point of life was experience. Even if she had no relatives to turn to, even if there was no one she could love, even if no one loved her.
After entering the room, Fu Chaoying just happened to receive a video call from Ye Jiayuan.
“Jiejie?”
Ye Jiayuan looked at the slightly flushed pink of her cheeks and the muddled way she spoke, then said gently, “Drunk?”
Fu Chaoying smiled lightly at her. “No, just a little tipsy!”
Looking at her eyes, slightly hazy but even more lucid for it, Ye Jiayuan gave a small nod. “Then rest well. Good night.”
Fu Chaoying shook her head and asked with a soft laugh, “Did you miss me?”
Ye Jiayuan nodded a little and murmured, “Mm.”
Fu Chaoying lay on the bed and looked at her face under the dim yellow light on the other end. Her expression slowly turned serious as she asked again, “Did you miss me?”
Ye Jiayuan nodded and said softly, “I miss you.”
Fu Chaoying stared into her eyes and couldn’t see even a trace of perfunctoriness or deceit; she could only glimpse a little tenderness.
“I miss you too. Good night, older sister.” Fu Chaoying’s eyes curved with a smile.
After hanging up, Fu Chaoying still found it hard to fall asleep for a long time.
In that half-awake, half-asleep state, many images flashed through Fu Chaoying’s mind like a movie, but she couldn’t tell what was real and what was fantasy.
*
The next morning, Fu Chaoying went to the airport with legal and assistant staff and boarded a flight to Hong Kong.
She checked into the hotel with them, then took them to lunch at Chu Yiyun’s favorite restaurant.
It was Aunt Chu’s recommendation; Fu Chaoying had loved it from the first bite, and now her colleagues were full of praise too.
Especially assistant Li Bingzhi. “I’m going to post this on my moments later and recommend it to everyone. Come on, everyone, come on!”
Fu Chaoying smiled lightly, then heard Li Bingzhi ask, “Teacher Fu, do you have any other restaurant recommendations?”
Fu Chaoying suddenly thought of Ye Jiayuan and recommended the restaurants Ye Jiayuan had taken her to, as well as that private cinema.
Just then, she received a message from Ye Jiayuan on her phone: [Which hotel are you staying at?]
Fu Chaoying tapped the screen and sent her the hotel name, then added: [We’re signing the contract this afternoon. We have to treat the other side to dinner tonight. Can you come a bit later, older sister?]
Ye Jiayuan replied: [Okay.]
As concise as ever.
Fu Chaoying put away her phone, only to receive a call from Liu Xin. “Miss Chaoying, which restaurant are you eating at? I’ll bring the car over for you.”
Hearing her voice, Fu Chaoying suddenly thought of that photo, and after a deep breath she gave her the restaurant name, ending with, “Thanks for your trouble, Assistant Liu.”
After the group finished eating, Fu Chaoying took the two of them downstairs. Liu Xin had just parked the car in front of the restaurant and was waiting by the door to greet her. “Miss Chaoying, get in the car quickly.”
Seeing that she didn’t hand over the keys, Fu Chaoying smiled at her and said softly, “Thank you. Go take care of your own things; I’ll drive.”
Liu Xin looked at her face and still insisted with a smile, “Ms. Ye asked me to be your driver.”
“Thank you.” Fu Chaoying smiled. As if casually, she said, “Having you handle private matters like this is too much trouble.”
Liu Xin froze slightly, then explained, “Ms. Ye will give extra allowances.”
Fu Chaoying really did seem to be chatting with her casually, and then she exchanged a few more polite words with her.
Liu Xin let out a nearly imperceptible sigh of relief.
When they arrived at the agreed-upon café, the Hong Kong museum’s representative had not arrived yet.
Fu Chaoying got out of the car. Just as she turned around, she looked back at Liu Xin. “What does Assistant Liu usually drink? Coffee, or juice?”
Liu Xin smiled and waved it off. “Thank you, Teacher Fu. There’s water in the car; don’t trouble yourself.”
Fu Chaoying smiled helplessly. “Then I’ll get you a latte; warm, less sugar. Is that okay?”
Liu Xin gave a shy smile. “That’s fine. Thank you, Miss Chaoying.”
Behind Fu Chaoying, Li Bingzhi and the legal staff exchanged a look—Boss has a partner, and she’s a big shot.
After Liu Xin picked up the coffee and left the private room, the Hong Kong museum staff arrived right on time.
The two sides shook hands and exchanged pleasantries; Fu Chaoying also had them place their orders.
The main points had already been discussed earlier, and now both sides’ legal teams were reviewing the contract.
Fu Chaoying and Li Bingzhi chatted with the other side in alternating turns, talking about the restaurant they had lunch at today and the hotel they were staying in.
The other side praised Fu Chaoying’s taste again and again, and Fu Chaoying returned the compliment, saying their judgment was even better; otherwise, they wouldn’t have agreed to a long-term collaboration with her.
By the time they finished discussing the details of the cooperation and signed the contract, it was already evening.
It just happened to be sunset, so Fu Chaoying suggested dinner at a restaurant with a view of Victoria Harbour at night.
It wasn’t until they were on the road that Fu Chaoying had a chance to check her phone.
Half an hour earlier, Ye Jiayuan had sent a message: [Did it go smoothly?]
Fu Chaoying tapped the screen and replied: [It went smoothly. We’re on the way to dinner now.]
As the city lights came on, Fu Chaoying couldn’t stop thinking about Ye Jiayuan; she thought of how they had walked the streets of Hong Kong together, how they had secretly held hands in front of both families.
Fu Chaoying’s lips curved before she could stop them, but when she caught sight of Liu Xin from the corner of her eye, she let out a nearly inaudible sigh.
There was no one she could ask.
The afternoon’s negotiations had gone pleasantly, and dinner only brought the two teams even closer.
Fu Chaoying smiled at Li Bingzhi and felt that she had a bright future ahead of her—there was a trace of Dong Muyu in her, her EQ was high, she was good with words, and she could even speak a few phrases of Cantonese. In a social setting like this, she was undoubtedly Fu Chaoying’s capable assistant.
Fu Chaoying was thinking of giving her and the legal staff bonuses after the banquet.
The meal left the other party very happy. Halfway through, Fu Chaoying tried to excuse herself to pay the bill, but the other side saw through her—because last time she had used the very same excuse.
Then they fought to pay instead, and Fu Chaoying could only laugh helplessly, only to hear the other side say, “In our Chinese way of saying it, the host is supposed to treat. Last time you beat us to it, so this time you’re not allowed to steal our spotlight again.”
Both teams burst into laughter.
After dinner, Fu Chaoying and her group escorted the other side downstairs; at a glance, they saw Ye Jiayuan sitting in the restaurant lobby.
The moment Ye Jiayuan saw her, she stood up.
The Hong Kong museum’s representative had met Ye Jiayuan before, and now that she came over, she took the initiative to greet her in surprise. “Ms. Ye, what a coincidence.”
Ye Jiayuan gave a slight nod, then let her gaze settle on Fu Chaoying. “Not a coincidence. I came to pick someone up.”
The other side understood instantly. “So Miss Fu and Ms. Ye know each other...”
And were clearly quite close, but they didn’t dare guess exactly what relationship the two had, so the less they said, the fewer mistakes they’d make.
Fu Chaoying smiled gently. “Jiayuan-jie, long time no see.”
It had only been one day.
A hint of amusement flashed through Ye Jiayuan’s eyes. She then looked at Fu Chaoying’s colleagues and gave a slight nod. “I’ll take you all back to the hotel.”
After speaking, she turned her gaze to the Hong Kong museum staff. The other side reacted quickly. “Then let’s get together another time if there’s a chance, Ms. Ye, Teacher Fu. Take care.”
Ye Jiayuan drove personally, and Fu Chaoying naturally got into the passenger seat.
The assistant and legal staff in the back exchanged glances, but neither dared to speak—
after all, the woman in the driver’s seat had far too strong an aura.
Fu Chaoying sat in the front passenger seat, quietly watching Ye Jiayuan’s profile.
Her expression was the same as always: cool and mysterious.
Fu Chaoying stared for so long she was lost in it, only to meet her eyes all of a sudden.
A trace of a smile flickered in Ye Jiayuan’s gaze. “No plans for later?”
Fu Chaoying shook her head lightly, then asked the people in the back, “Bingzhi, Hong Kong’s night view is really beautiful. Do you have any plans for tonight?”
Li Bingzhi and the legal staff exchanged a glance, then smiled. “Teacher Fu, we’re planning to go for a walk. I think it looks really beautiful here.”
They happened to be on the coastal ring road. Ye Jiayuan pulled over; Fu Chaoying followed suit and reminded them, “Call me anytime if you need anything.”
“Okay, thank you, Teacher Fu and Ms. Ye~”
The two girls linked arms and waved goodbye to them.
Fu Chaoying withdrew her gaze and turned to look at Ye Jiayuan.
Ye Jiayuan waved it off and said helplessly, “I was just asking casually.”
Fu Chaoying smiled. “Then it works out nicely for our two-person world.”
Two-person. A photo immediately flashed through Fu Chaoying’s mind.
She rolled down the car window and let the sea breeze wash over her, only to realize the route was growing more and more familiar.
“Huh, this isn’t the way back to the hotel.”
Ye Jiayuan coughed lightly and said in a low voice, “The work is already done.”
Fu Chaoying blinked, then heard her continue, “Shouldn’t you go home after work?”
“But my colleagues...” Fu Chaoying began, then stopped herself in time.
The car slowly came to a stop by the sea. Ye Jiayuan leaned close to her lips, inhaled lightly, then said softly, “But you... don’t miss your wife?”
Their warm breaths mingled. Fu Chaoying’s heartbeat suddenly quickened, and she found herself staring into her eyes.
She wanted to see love in those cool, deep eyes of hers.
“Hm?” A trace of confusion flickered in Ye Jiayuan’s gaze.
Fu Chaoying came back to herself and lowered her eyes slightly. She licked gently over Ye Jiayuan’s lips. “I do.”
“What do you miss?” Ye Jiayuan raised a hand to support the back of her neck.
Feeling the tingling numbness from the skin at the nape of her neck, Fu Chaoying’s lips curved. “I miss you, older sister.”
Her last syllable trembled faintly.
Ye Jiayuan’s gaze darkened as she looked at her, coaxing, “Miss me... what do you want to do?”
Noticing the darkness in her eyes and seeing the longing within them, Fu Chaoying’s throat moved, but she said nothing. She only leaned forward and took the initiative to kiss her lips.
Sensing her unprecedented enthusiasm, and the hurricane-like plundering inside her mouth, Ye Jiayuan froze slightly, dimly feeling that something wasn’t quite right.
Then Fu Chaoying lightly bit her tongue; the pain shot straight to her heart, and Ye Jiayuan came back to herself just as she heard her accuse, “What are you thinking about, older sister?”
Fu Chaoying’s thoughts were a mess. She only wanted to hold her, to kiss her, but the other party didn’t seem fully focused.
“I was thinking about why you’re so proactive today.” Ye Jiayuan answered honestly.
Fu Chaoying held her lips and laughed softly. “Does older sister not like it?”
Ye Jiayuan didn’t answer. She only pressed a hand to the back of Fu Chaoying’s neck and deepened the kiss.
The sea wind howled in her ears, yet Fu Chaoying could only hear the mingled breaths of the two of them and the wet sounds of their tongues tangling together.
Her tongue was sucked numb; the tingling sensation went straight to her heart, and after so many days without physical intimacy, she was demanding more now.
Ye Jiayuan supported the back of her neck and changed their angle. Fu Chaoying seized the chance to breathe, but a soft moan still escaped her uncontrollably.
Just as Fu Chaoying felt her cheeks heating up, she heard Ye Jiayuan suck in a breath and call her softly, “Xiaoguai...”
There was a slight rasp in her voice.
Fu Chaoying smiled and caught her tongue, feeling the warmth and slickness of that soft tongue, and couldn’t help lifting a hand; but Ye Jiayuan got there first. Her waist was gently stroked, and Fu Chaoying shuddered hard.
Then her hand went somewhere else. A familiar longing rose from the bottom of Fu Chaoying’s heart.
Without thinking, Fu Chaoying arched slightly, feeling that softness and the faint sting. Her tongue had been sucked numb, and she lightly pushed at Ye Jiayuan’s shoulder.
After their lips parted, Fu Chaoying clung to Ye Jiayuan’s shoulder, breathing hard, only to hear her low laugh.
The car plunged into darkness; all that could be heard was each other’s breathing, rougher and heavier than usual. Even the air seemed to heat up.
Fu Chaoying’s heart pounded like a drum, and she rubbed softly into her palm.
When she heard Ye Jiayuan’s breathing become even more ragged, Fu Chaoying leaned by her ear and laughed softly. “Older sister... do you want to eat?”
Her tone twisted through several hundred turns; it was blatant and obvious.
Ye Jiayuan’s palm tightened, but then came the sound of Fu Chaoying gasping even louder; the next moment, her hand was suddenly empty—
Fu Chaoying leaned back and smiled. “But it’s not convenient here.”
Ye Jiayuan couldn’t help leaning forward again, pressing against her. “What’s inconvenient about it?”
Fu Chaoying hooked her arms around her neck and glanced around the surroundings; then, breathing out warmly by her ear, she said, “It’s just inconvenient...”
Ye Jiayuan understood immediately. She opened the car door with one hand, went around to the passenger side, and lifted Fu Chaoying up around the waist.
Fu Chaoying cried out in surprise and hurriedly pushed at her shoulder. “Older sister, wait... If we park here too long, won’t it block traffic?”
Ye Jiayuan put her down, gave a helpless laugh beside the car, then turned back, got in, and started the vehicle.
The temperature inside the car dropped a little, but Fu Chaoying’s heartbeat didn’t calm down much.
She watched Ye Jiayuan work through the steps and stop in some uninhabited place that looked like the middle of nowhere.
Fu Chaoying’s heartbeat accelerated again when she saw her get out of the car and walk to her side.
The moment the door opened, Fu Chaoying took the initiative and held up her hand, speaking in a soft, spoiled voice. “Older sister, carry me...”
Seeing her like this, Ye Jiayuan’s gaze darkened further. She lifted her around the waist and, with lightning speed, put her into the back seat.
Fu Chaoying hooked her arms around her neck and pulled her down, lightly stroking her collarbone with one hand; then Ye Chaoying lifted her hem, and the sound of a metal clasp snapping open followed.
A muffled “Mm...” slipped helplessly from Fu Chaoying’s throat.
Ye Jiayuan seemed determined to make up for the days of absence, kissing her until she trembled.
“Older sister, it hurts...” Fu Chaoying inhaled sharply and said softly; then she felt her loosen her mouth.
To the other side.
Fu Chaoying lifted a leg and lightly rubbed against her waist, hearing Ye Jiayuan’s breathing grow increasingly ragged.
Ye Jiayuan pressed a kiss to her collarbone and asked, “Is it okay?”
Fu Chaoying understood; she was asking whether it was okay to leave a mark.
Fu Chaoying couldn’t help but laugh. “No.”
Ye Jiayuan truly paused, then placed a featherlight kiss on her collarbone.
Fu Chaoying’s lips curved. She stroked the back of Ye Jiayuan’s neck with one hand and tipped her head back slightly. “Older sister is so obedient.”
Noticing her movement, Ye Jiayuan gave her collarbone a hard suck.
“Ah...” Fu Chaoying gasped, and then heard her say, “No one will come here.”
Fu Chaoying’s cheeks heated slightly, and then she heard her coaxing, “You can be louder.”
“No...” Fu Chaoying lightly pinched her. “Unless older sister gives me something to scream about.”
Ye Jiayuan only buried her head in Fu Chaoying’s neck, lingering there, then caught her ear and bit lightly.
Fu Chaoying unexpectedly let out another sound from her throat, and heard Ye Jiayuan give a low laugh.
Fu Chaoying pursed her lips and shut them tight.
In the dark she couldn’t see Ye Jiayuan, and the other woman shouldn’t have been able to see her either. But Ye Jiayuan seemed to know she had closed her lips; her tongue slipped over, easily prying them open.
Her fingertips pinched and traced somewhere; Fu Chaoying once again couldn’t help moaning.
So Fu Chaoying simply let out her voice, seeming to feel her growing even more excited.
The windows were tightly shut, yet she could still hear the roar of the sea wind. But the bodies pressed together were hot, and Fu Chaoying couldn’t imagine how cold it would feel if the wind touched them.
The moment Ye Jiayuan kissed there, something in Fu Chaoying’s brain seemed to explode. Without realizing it, she lifted a leg and hooked it over the front seat.
Ye Jiayuan licked gently, then slowly sucked; noticing her movement, she couldn’t help but laugh. “Xiaoguai is so good.”
“So much...”
Fu Chaoying lifted a hand and lightly caught her hair, calling out helplessly, “Older sister...”
Ye Jiayuan ignored her soft plea and lightly ground her teeth there, coaxing out sounds from her throat that made the soul soar.
Fu Chaoying did as she wished; for the first time, she didn’t hold back, giving everything she had to feel Ye Jiayuan and then answer her in return.
Ye Jiayuan grew even more excited, but there was also a hint of hesitation.
Fu Chaoying was unusually fervent today.
Fu Chaoying floated up and down between her lips and tongue; just as she was rising toward the clouds, something flashed through her mind.
She took two deep breaths and asked, “Older sister... do you like me?”
Her body kept trembling, but she still held her breath, wanting to hear the answer.
