Chapter 36
Chapter 36: Rose, Thorn Empress.
Fu Chaoying’s flailing hand was caught at once, and Ye Jiayuan’s cool voice sounded by her ear. “Not sleeping?”
Fu Chaoying’s lips curved wider. She leaned close to her ear and breathed softly, “I just want to hold Sister while I sleep... can’t I?”
Amusement flickered in Ye Jiayuan’s eyes as she guided Fu Chaoying’s hand upward.
Fu Chaoying’s rebellious streak surfaced again, and she feigned confusion. “What does Sister want to do... weren’t we going to sleep?”
Ye Jiayuan gave a soft hum and let go of her hand.
The gentle restraint disappeared at once. Following the direction Ye Jiayuan had led her earlier, Fu Chaoying groped along that delicate, smooth skin, unable to let go.
“Sister’s skin is so nice...” Fu Chaoying sighed quietly, only to hear Ye Jiayuan compliment her back: “Yours is too.”
Fu Chaoying shifted to the other side and pinched lightly, only to feel Ye Jiayuan’s body shiver slightly.
Fu Chaoying opened her mouth and gently took hold of her earlobe. “But Sister... you didn’t say that last night.”
Last night, Ye Jiayuan had only spoken a few times. She had asked whether it hurt, whether that pressure was okay, and said, “Xiaoying is amazing.”
Thinking of that, Fu Chaoying bit down lightly, then heard her ask, “Not sleeping anymore?”
Fu Chaoying froze slightly, only to see Ye Jiayuan sit up at once, switch on the light beside her, then come back and lift the thin blanket.
Fu Chaoying understood what she meant. Her throat tightened, and her heartbeat suddenly quickened.
Just as Fu Chaoying was still stunned, a hand hooked lightly around her, followed by a puzzled “Hm?”
Fu Chaoying swallowed, then raised her hand to explore there.
Gently rubbing and kneading, Fu Chaoying felt it grow softer and softer, but then she faintly sensed a slight bulge within.
Her breathing gradually quickened. “Sister, do you like it?”
Ye Jiayuan stroked the back of her neck. “Mm.”
Fu Chaoying grumbled inwardly: but there was no response from her body at all... At the very beginning she had only trembled a little; now she had returned to that cool, sexless composure.
As if Fu Chaoying were some lecherous harasser bullying her.
Fu Chaoying pressed her lips together, only to see Ye Jiayuan start undoing those restraints with one hand. Alarm flashed through her, and she immediately pulled her hand away. “I’ll do it.”
Ye Jiayuan’s actions carried a deeper meaning, but her expression was so normal that it made Fu Chaoying feel oddly split in two.
Maybe because Ye Jiayuan was naturally reserved...
Fu Chaoying unfastened them one by one. Amid the broad expanse of white, she found two distinct points.
Her throat moved. She lifted a hand and touched one of them.
Perhaps because of the direct contact, Ye Jiayuan’s body trembled faintly again.
Yet all Fu Chaoying could hear were the slightly quickened breaths of the two of them; nothing came from Ye Jiayuan’s throat.
Fu Chaoying pressed her lips together, then lowered her head to take it in her mouth. With the tip of her tongue, she lightly tasted it, then suckled the way Ye Jiayuan had taught her.
At last, she heard Ye Jiayuan let out a hoarse “Mm.”
It seemed to carry a hint of laughter, not the drawn-out, languid “Mm...” from before.
Fu Chaoying recalled last night’s scene and immediately started thinking about where she had gone wrong. Her thoughts shifted, and she began sucking with alternating force, while her right hand gradually lost all pattern as well.
Imitating Ye Jiayuan, she pinched lightly at times and scraped more heavily at others.
Before long, Fu Chaoying finally heard that soft, drawn-out sound slip from Ye Jiayuan’s lips; the fingers on the back of her neck also tightened more and more, signaling a response.
Fu Chaoying was secretly pleased with her own learning ability, yet in the next two minutes, she once again began to doubt life.
Maybe Ye Jiayuan’s adaptability was just too strong. After the same level of stimulation had come over her, she could simply endure it without making a sound?
Fu Chaoying let go of her, then sat up and nestled into the crook of her neck, kissing her lightly. “Sister...”
Ye Jiayuan was gently stroking her smooth shoulder. “Mm?”
Her cool voice was tinged with a little hoarseness, though not very obvious.
Fu Chaoying sucked hard on her collarbone, then moved to her shoulder, licking lightly and sucking hard.
At last, she got another “Mm...”
That cool voice had blended with an alluring, sensual note; it sounded wonderful.
Fu Chaoying chuckled softly and returned to that spot to taste it again. In between, she acted spoiled. “Sister... do you like it?”
After asking, she lightly grazed it with her teeth.
Ye Jiayuan’s breathing suddenly grew rapid; her fingertips unconsciously slipped into Fu Chaoying’s hair, and she answered while drawing in a breath, “Like...”
“Then what about this.” Fu Chaoying nudged her gently with the tip of her nose and rubbed from side to side, only to hear Ye Jiayuan say leisurely, “Not bad...”
That almost imperceptible laugh from Ye Jiayuan seemed to be mocking her...
Fu Chaoying took two deep breaths and pinched the soft flesh at her waist.
She lifted a hand to trace circles lightly through Ye Jiayuan’s hair, then drifted toward her legs with the barest touch.
“Does Sister really like wearing long pants?” Fu Chaoying asked suddenly.
“Mm.”
Fu Chaoying’s mind raced. She quietly moved toward a certain place, only to find no trace of moisture.
She grew a little anxious. “Sister...”
Ye Jiayuan gave a helpless laugh, gently hooked her hand, lifted it away, then brought it to a certain spot.
Fu Chaoying’s mind seemed to explode. Only then did she understand where this was.
After taking two deep breaths, she explored lightly, only to feel just a hint of dampness.
Fu Chaoying thought of last night, when Ye Jiayuan had stirred casually once and the sound of water had risen immediately.
Was she too sensitive, or was Ye Jiayuan simply too skilled?
Frustration welled up from deep inside. Fu Chaoying wrapped her arms around her waist and buried her face against her chest, sounding a little downcast. “Sister won’t... not feel anything at all, right?”
Ye Jiayuan was silent for a moment, then lifted a hand to stroke the back of her neck while her right hand patted her back. “I do feel it.”
However Fu Chaoying heard it, it still sounded like an excuse. So she pulled the thin blanket up and obediently curled into her arms.
Feeling the moist warmth of her breathing against her heart, Ye Jiayuan trembled lightly. “Then should I put it back on?”
Fu Chaoying pressed her lips together and sighed softly. “Sister, you’re... way too cold.”
Ye Jiayuan smiled helplessly. “I’m used to not expressing emotions.”
So the trembling deep inside, the craving and yearning, were hard for others to notice.
The person in her arms fell silent. Ye Jiayuan gently stroked her back. “Unhappy?”
Fu Chaoying rubbed around in her arms to show her displeasure, then said, “No more playing!”
Ye Jiayuan stroked her cheek. “All right; then next time.”
Her tone was full of tenderness and indulgence.
Fu Chaoying murmured, “Then next time, Sister... be a little more passionate.”
“Mm, sleep.”
Fu Chaoying fell asleep peacefully. When she woke again, the person beside her was naturally already gone.
Clutching Ye Jiayuan’s pillow, Fu Chaoying replayed everything in her mind. Next time, what kind of setup should she design to make her... aroused.
Maybe she should go learn some techniques.
With that thought settled, Fu Chaoying continued reading the sapphic novel she had only managed to glance at a little the night before.
The synopsis sounded pretty exciting, but after several chapters, she still hadn’t reached the key scenes.
Only when she heard Aunt Chu’s voice outside the door did Fu Chaoying get up and go wash up.
She couldn’t help feeling frustrated. When would this author finally get to the spicy part?
So bland and clean-cut; how long was she supposed to keep reading this?
After washing up, Fu Chaoying couldn’t resist posting a few yellow hearts in the comments and asking the author when the spicy scenes would start.
Only then did she leave the bedroom.
Ye Jiayuan was sitting on the sofa making tea, and when Aunt Chu heard her voice she turned around at once. “Xiaoying’s awake.”
“Good morning, Auntie; good morning, Jiayuan jiejie.” Fu Chaoying greeted them obediently, then saw Ye Jiayuan slowly turn her head and give her a slight nod.
Fu Chaoying caught a fleeting glimpse of the area beneath her neck; above the collar, it seemed to be covered with a faint layer of pink.
Fu Chaoying obediently sat beside Chu Yiyun and, from the corner of her eye, confirmed that faint blush, but she couldn’t help recalling—had she left a hickey on her neck this morning?
Chu Yiyun was watching a Hong Kong drama and enjoying it immensely.
Fu Chaoying chatted with her casually about the plot, then saw a cup of tea placed in front of her. She picked it up and drank a few mouthfuls. “Thank you, Jiayuan jiejie.”
Ye Jiayuan glanced at her without a word, then averted her eyes unobtrusively.
Just then Fu Chaohua came out, yawning.
“Sis, you didn’t sleep well last night?” Fu Chaoying turned back with a smile.
Fu Chaohua shook her head. “After hearing what you two said yesterday, I read novels all night and only went to sleep at five this morning.”
At that, Fu Chaoying exchanged a meaningful look with Ye Jiayuan; the look in her eyes said, It’s fine.
“What novel? Was it good?” Chu Yiyun asked.
Fu Chaohua shook her head. “There isn’t even anything adults should be reading... it’s all bland and clean-cut...”
The complaint sounded strangely familiar. Fu Chaoying blurted out, “Could it be...?”
Fu Chaohua looked back at her in pain and indignation. “Exactly! Jinjiang!”
“Everything below the neck gets cut off!”
Fu Chaoying didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. “I even left comments asking the author when she’d write the adult content.”
After all, she still wanted to study.
Ye Jiayuan quietly shifted her gaze to Fu Chaoying, amusement flickering in her eyes.
Fu Chaohua shook her head. “The author’s helpless too... but if you want to read it... cough, cough.”
Fu Chaohua coughed twice to cover it up, only to find Chu Yiyun listening with great interest.
Chu Yiyun was getting excited and hurriedly urged, “Go on then; what do you want to read, and where can you find it?”
Fu Chaohua smiled awkwardly. “Auntie, that’s not suitable for children, haha.”
Ye Jiayuan coughed twice, trying to steer the conversation back to normal. “Let’s have breakfast.”
Chu Yiyun shot her a sidelong glance. “Which one of us here isn’t a child? Go on, say it; let our little Ye learn too.”
By the end, her tone was clearly teasing and loaded.
Ye Jiayuan’s eyes flashed with helplessness. “Mom.”
Fu Chaoying heard Chu Yiyun say that and grumbled inwardly: your little Ye doesn’t need to learn... she’s very good at it.
But Fu Chaoying also became curious. Was Ye Jiayuan self-taught, did she learn on her own, or... was she very experienced??
Thinking of the last possibility, Fu Chaoying felt an instant ache in her chest.
Then she consoled herself: Sister was at least a few years older than her... being experienced was understandable.
Still, Fu Chaoying felt a bit sad, though the attention soon shifted elsewhere.
“A certain site... now that we’re in Hong Kong, it’s more convenient.” Fu Chaohua’s voice dropped very low.
But everyone heard it clearly.
Chu Yiyun asked, “What site? What kind of site is that?”
Fu Chaohua kindly gave the full name.
Ye Jiayuan was helpless, but couldn’t stop her.
Chu Yiyun didn’t ask any further either; after all, in front of the younger generation...
Fu Chaohua softly reminded her, “Oh right, you can just search the ladies’ section directly; it’s more convenient.”
Fu Chaoying nodded obediently, then coughed twice. “Auntie, I’m hungry.”
Only then did Chu Yiyun call everyone to the table.
Fu Chaoying walked beside Fu Chaohua and asked nosily, “Sis, you know a lot.”
Fu Chaohua waved it off with a smile. “Normal needs in life, you know.”
Fu Chaoying couldn’t agree more. During her exploratory phase, she had watched instructional videos too.
Later, she even practiced DIY.
Fu Chaoying pulled herself together and focused on breakfast.
Ye Jiayuan had work today, so after breakfast she left home.
Before leaving, she even specifically reminded them, “Mom... when you’re chatting with them, mind the boundaries a little; don’t lead the little girl astray...”
“What do you mean, lead her astray!” Chu Yiyun was immediately unhappy. “Xiaoying is the youngest here and she’s already in her twenties! What can’t we talk about?”
Fu Chaoying obediently nodded behind Chu Yiyun and clung to her arm affectionately. “Auntie is just like my mom...”
Ye Jiayuan was helpless. She lifted her eyes to Fu Chaoying and let out a soft sigh.
Fu Chaoying read the meaning in that glance perfectly: don’t learn bad habits from them.
Because in the end, all of it would be used on her.
Fu Chaoying couldn’t help but laugh softly, only to hear Chu Yiyun ask in confusion, “What’s so funny? Tell Auntie.”
Fu Chaoying quickly shook her head. “Auntie, let’s keep watching the drama.”
As she spoke, she linked arms with Chu Yiyun and went back to the living room.
Fu Chaohua was slouched on the sofa reading a novel.
But Fu Chaoying suddenly felt something missing beside her. Only then did she realize she missed Ye Jiayuan a little, and also missed the prickly excitement that came from secretly fooling around with her...
Her throat tightened. Then she couldn’t help wondering: was she missing Ye Jiayuan, or was she missing her body...
Or perhaps both?
A smile tugged at Fu Chaoying’s lips.
The sun was fierce at noon, so none of them went out.
They hired a housekeeper to cook; after lunch, everyone returned to their rooms for a nap.
Fu Chaoying lay on her own bed, clutching the pillow Ye Jiayuan had used, and missed her even more.
She missed her smooth, delicate skin; that just-right softness.
Fu Chaoying felt like a pervert, yet she still couldn’t resist opening the website her cousin had mentioned to learn...
Before returning to Nanyan, she had to make sure Ye Jiayuan was thoroughly satisfied; otherwise, maybe she wouldn’t think about her at all.
Maybe Ye Jiayuan would miss her body. After all, she really seemed to like doing all that messy, intimate stuff to her.
Fu Chaoying searched around and finally found a pair of Japanese-Korean-style videos.
Very gentle, just like Ye Jiayuan was with her; if one ignored the later loss of control and fierce pampering.
So that place could be sucked too, could be rubbed with teeth, and could even be pressed together like scissors.
Fu Chaoying felt as though a new world had opened before her.
At this moment, she missed Ye Jiayuan intensely.
Fu Chaoying cleared her throat and sent her a voice message: “Sister~ I miss you so much...”
Her voice carried a deliberately soft, coquettish lilt.
Not even two seconds later, Ye Jiayuan sent a video call.
Fu Chaoying’s already unsettled heartbeat accelerated again; she took two deep breaths before answering.
“Xiaoying, what are you doing?” Ye Jiayuan’s cool voice sounded in her ear.
Fu Chaoying looked at the office background behind her and her sanctimonious expression; her gaze shifted slightly. “I’m about to take a nap.”
Ye Jiayuan looked at her misty, faintly flushed eyes, and the corner of her lips lifted with an almost imperceptible curve. “Watched videos?”
...Caught in one glance, Fu Chaoying pressed her lips together and dumped the blame on her. “Sister was so cold this morning... I was just learning.”
Ye Jiayuan coughed twice. “Why not learn from me?”
Fu Chaoying blinked, pretending not to understand. “Learn what?”
“Learn... how I treated you like that, until you were completely powerless.”
The voice by her ear was far too sensual, with a faint, teasing lure; in Fu Chaoying’s mind, that night in the bathtub played back like a movie.
“What do you mean, powerless.” Fu Chaoying drawled.
At that time, she had clearly already had no strength left.
“Mm, you played hard to get and made me completely powerless.” Ye Jiayuan’s tone was light and airy, with a smile that was impossible to ignore.
Fu Chaoying remembered and immediately argued, “I just had no strength to push you away, not playing hard to get!!”
Ye Jiayuan looked at her, huffy in the screen, and only found her adorable. She gave a soft response. “Mm.”
“Ye Jiayuan—” Fu Chaoying’s voice turned coquettish as she accused her, “You’re bullying me.”
Ye Jiayuan’s gaze darkened slightly. “How do you want Sister to bully you?”
She called herself Sister... and in that kind of tone.
Fu Chaoying immediately covered the phone screen and patted her face, forcing herself to steady her breathing and heartbeat.
She hadn’t expected another low voice to come from the receiver. “Mm?”
“Should I kiss you? Or...?”
“Ah, Sister, don’t say any more!!” Fu Chaoying’s face was already burning.
Ye Jiayuan’s voice grew even deeper, but with a sensual edge. “That night you also said I wasn’t allowed to kiss there...”
Fu Chaoying flipped the phone over and quickly ended the video call.
Sister was still Sister... she simply couldn’t outtalk her, and she couldn’t beat her in bed either.
Fu Chaoying’s sense of defeat surged again, and she started reviewing the knowledge points she had just learned.
When she mastered it and came back, she didn’t believe Ye Jiayuan wouldn’t cry out.
When she woke from her afternoon nap, it was already five o’clock; Aunt Chu was the one who knocked and woke her.
The sensual dream she had just had suddenly surfaced in her mind, and she immediately got out of bed to wash her face.
When Chu Yiyun saw her come out, she said, “Xiaoyu invited us to dinner tonight. Hey... Xiaoying, didn’t you turn on the air conditioner when you slept?”
Probably because she had been caught blushing, Fu Chaoying smiled. “Mm, it did feel a little hot.”
Fu Chaohua was putting on makeup. The two of them sat back on the sofa and watched a Hong Kong drama, chatting idly.
Before long, Fu Chaohua finished her makeup and came out.
The instant Chu Yiyun saw her, her eyes lit up. “Xiaohua looks so pretty today.”
Fu Chaoying agreed. “Sis, your dress suits your temperament so well.”
Today Fu Chaohua wore a long gray dress, with half her hair pinned up and half left down; she had a very gentle, mature-sister vibe.
Fu Chaohua smiled. “Thanks. Let’s head out.”
The driver was waiting downstairs, and the group set off from home.
When they arrived at the restaurant, Ye Jiayuan and Dong Muyu were already chatting, leaving the seat of honor open.
Both of them looked toward the door when they heard the movement, though their gazes landed on different people.
Ye Jiayuan gave a slight nod and stood to pull out a chair for Chu Yiyun.
Chu Yiyun naturally took the seat of honor, and Fu Chaoying smoothly sat between Ye Jiayuan and Fu Chaohua.
Ye Jiayuan turned and pulled out a chair for her. Fu Chaoying smiled and thanked her politely. “Thank you, Jiayuan jiejie.”
Ye Jiayuan gave a soft “Mm” in reply.
After ordering, Chu Yiyun naturally exchanged pleasantries with Dong Muyu, and Fu Chaohua joined in their conversation as well.
Fu Chaoying responded occasionally; most of her attention was on Ye Jiayuan.
She sneaked a hand over to hook her fingertips, only to be caught at once.
Fu Chaoying was already used to being caught whenever she tried to be naughty, so she went with it and began rubbing her thumb gently against Ye Jiayuan’s thigh.
Today Ye Jiayuan was naturally wearing suit pants, and there wasn’t even the slightest reaction. Fu Chaoying found it boring and instantly pulled her hand back.
Yet Ye Jiayuan’s right hand followed, rubbing faintly against her thigh—Fu Chaoying was wearing stockings today, and the sensation was very subtle.
The people nearby were talking. Fu Chaoying swallowed hard and coughed lightly.
Ye Jiayuan didn’t withdraw her hand, so Fu Chaoying herself pried it open, only to see her fingers slide into the gap between her legs.
Fu Chaoying’s breathing caught; her heart pounded like a drum, and she nervously glanced at the others.
An itch spread there, carrying a faint, numb tingling.
Fortunately, Ye Jiayuan withdrew her hand after only a few seconds, then picked up a work call as if nothing had happened.
Fu Chaoying looked at her long, slender fingers holding the phone and silently withdrew her gaze.
Chu Yiyun suddenly cued her. “Xiaoying, what plans do you have for tomorrow?”
Fu Chaoying smiled. “I’m going to see an exhibition tomorrow, and also discuss a collaboration.”
She had already made an appointment with the museum manager.
“Morning or afternoon?”
Fu Chaoying: “Morning and noon.”
Chu Yiyun: “Then come keep Auntie company for afternoon tea?”
Ye Jiayuan had to work during the day, and Fu Chaoying had nothing else to do, so she obediently agreed.
Then she couldn’t help thinking that this time around, she’d only get to be intimate with Ye Jiayuan occasionally at night.
But that was still better than long-distance, Fu Chaoying thought.
The group chatted while they ate, and it wasn’t until eight o’clock that dinner finally ended.
Although Dong Muyu had been the one to invite them, Ye Jiayuan had somehow already paid the bill.
Dong Muyu flattered her repeatedly. “I’m so jealous of our Ye CEO’s girlfriend; going out with you must be so worry-free.”
As she spoke, she swept her gaze around and paused for a moment on Fu Chaoying’s face.
Fu Chaoying’s heart tightened slightly. Sure enough, the next second she heard Chu Yiyun ask, “Xiaoyu, have you met our little Ye’s partner?”
Dong Muyu realized something and waved her hands repeatedly. “I haven’t had that honor yet.”
Chu Yiyun had already lost interest and changed the topic.
Dong Muyu let out an almost imperceptible breath of relief and found an excuse to leave.
The group headed for the parking lot.
Fu Chaoying didn’t dare walk beside Ye Jiayuan and instead quietly stayed between Chu Yiyun and Fu Chaohua.
Tonight’s activity was shopping.
Chu Yiyun was a shopping fanatic; the moment they entered the mall, she dragged Fu Chaoying and Fu Chaohua around trying on clothes nonstop.
“There seems to be an art exhibition over there.” Ye Jiayuan suddenly said.
Fu Chaoying took the opening and said, “Then Auntie, I’ll go look at the exhibition first; you and Sis can keep shopping.”
Fu Chaoying went down the escalator, but when she looked back she couldn’t see Ye Jiayuan’s figure. Her heart felt suddenly empty; had she just been stating a fact?
When she reached the exhibition entrance, someone suddenly tapped her shoulder lightly.
Fu Chaoying jumped and turned around, only to crash into a pair of familiar, deep eyes.
This was on the first floor. Fu Chaoying quietly kept some distance from her, the corners of her lips lifting. “Where did Sister come from?”
“The elevator.” Ye Jiayuan walked beside her.
The works here were all by students. Fu Chaoying looked around casually, then suddenly spotted a nice piece; just then, Ye Jiayuan’s wrist caught hers.
Fu Chaoying was dragged into the stairwell.
There was no one here, but voices outside the door were noisy and bustling.
Fu Chaoying was pressed against the door by her, and as she looked at that face so close to her own, her throat tightened; then Ye Jiayuan seized her breath without warning.
Fu Chaoying couldn’t help but hook her arms around her neck and kiss her back, only to be suddenly lifted up. Those strong hands rubbed along her thighs.
Instinctively, Fu Chaoying wrapped her legs around her waist. The wet sounds of intertwined tongues echoed in the cramped space; the itch went straight to her heart, and Fu Chaoying couldn’t help letting out a soft moan.
“This time you took the initiative on me first.” Ye Jiayuan pressed her lips to hers and said in a low voice.
Fu Chaoying stuck out the tip of her tongue and licked her lips gently. “Clearly it’s because Sister couldn’t resist the temptation; how can you blame me?”
Ye Jiayuan smiled helplessly. “Mm, my fault.”
Before the words faded, she kissed her collarbone.
Fu Chaoying had no choice but to brace both hands on her shoulders, only to realize belatedly that Ye Jiayuan had shifted to carrying her with one arm.
Before Fu Chaoying could react, her collarbone was sucked hard, and she arched back in uncontrollable pleasure. Then she heard the sound of a metal clasp snapping open.
A sense of release and cool air touched that skin, and then a warm, powerful hand came to rest there.
Fu Chaoying instantly let out a soft moan; the next second, the bustle outside the door rushed back into her ears.
Fu Chaoying’s reason slowly returned. She instinctively coaxed her, “Sister, don’t...”
Though she said that, the skin pressed against her there was already clamoring in invitation.
